5.0 out of 5 stars Odys Loox 7 Tablet
I am delighted with this tablet. I am new to tablets, Android and touch screens, so there was a bit of learning to do, but I now have a dozen useful apps installed, most of them free. It comes with a browser that looks like Chrome, and email that looks like Gmail, plus Ebook reader, music/video player etc. You can download from your local library, free, software that...

3.0 out of 5 stars Looks are not everything...
I ordered this tablet from Amazon 17/02/12 and received it on the 20/02/12 which was pretty quick.

I really love the design and feel of it, seems really well built for a budget tablet and the picture is not too bad either. However i found the touch screen a nightmare. After trying to log into my google email account for nearly half an hour without success due...

Review ODYS Multi Graphic Tablet (Wireless Pen, USB 2.0) - Grey

Excellent product for home use
This was a Christmas present for a very artistic daughter. She use it for drawing pictures and writing comic books as well as some basic graphic editing. No software issues with drivers or slowing down the PC. We run it under WIN 7. The product performs perfectly for these tasks. For heavy processional users such as photo studios or architects it might also perform but I...

3.0 out of 5 stars not quite up to the job of mouse replacement
I bought this to have another type of device to use a mouse. I used to use a wacom years ago and was very pleased with it, so I thought I'd try using a tablet again. Sadly it's not quite up to that job. Most of the problems could be fixed with new drivers.

First problem. No equivalent of a scroll wheel or using two fingers to scroll as on a trackpad. It would...

After trying this and the August DG400 I like the Opys more.
Have just tested this and it found only the BBC stations on the supplied aerial but because this has the prober aerial input I was able to plug in my roof freeview aerial and all channels came up like ITV.

Also it gives you more freedom to plug in any amplified aerial when travelling for a better signal plus it also has an AV in put for Sky Box or DVD and games console.
Just a shame they don't give you a bag and a car charger thing so will have to find these....................

Excellent cheaper alternative to other tablets
I bought 2 of these as Christmas gifts, one is being used by a 19 yr old and the other by his father. They have both been using them daily for the past 3 weeks - from gaming apps including angry birds to sports news and web browsing. Neither has complained. I have found the app store good and with plenty to keep you occupied (I haven't tried kindle yet or even looked for...

Nice item, good functions with smooth scrolling and but the manual is very basic, in the android market app it seems to be not as well stocked as with android phones and there is NO KINDLE app listed?? Also the technical support 'Philex.com/support' doesn't have this unit listed as far as i can see, so do i have to ring them at £1 a minute? not doing that. As this is a...
